Access to the Chief Steward's House is from the side southwest ramp and narrow steps and pathway between the Chapel and Catering Complex. (not wheelchair accessible) The building was designed originally as a residence for the Colleges' Chief Steward circa mid-1880s, built in the north west corner of the Trinity College grounds, of 2 storey height construction and served by one internal staircase accessing upper rooms, there are no lift facilities.
During the buildings' life it has remained as originally constructed, but conversion during mid 1980's to multi-use offices for 'Fellows of the College' used in academic research programmes.
