Trinity College Dublin’s Life Sciences has been ranked at 87th in the world in the just published Times Higher Education (THE) Subject Ranking 2015-2016: Life Sciences top 100.
The THE Subject Rankings in Life Sciences compares the performance of universities in this subject area under the headings of Teaching, Research, International Outlook, Citations and Industry Income.
Trinity ranks in the top 45 universities in Europe in the THE Subject Ranking in Life Sciences and 1st in Ireland. Additionally it has been ranked 8th in the world (and 8th in Europe) in Life Sciences in terms of International Outlook, while in research impact (citations), it has been ranked at 32nd in the world and 12th in Europe.
This latest news reinforces the message of Trinity's Life Sciences world class performance and reputation, already shown earlier this year in its placement at 48th in the world for Biological Sciences in the QS Subject Rankings 2015.
