• May 2021: Giulio Brunetti presents his Malaria research paper online at the Bio-Nanomechanics Conference
• May 2021: Annalisa De Pastina publishes her research paper on the performance and instrumental details of the Nanomechanical platforms in the journal Review of Scientific instruments. Quantitative limit of 1 pg mass sensitivity in bioliquids achieved (500x improvement over the last 10 years)

• March 2011: PRTLI5 grant accepted. We join the 'Nanoremedies' project of UCD. 'Nanoremedies' : Nanomechanical Approaches and Functional Materials for Regenerative Medicine. We will design engineered functional biological structures and scaffolds to develop novel solutions for conventional implants and new strategies for regenerative medicine based on mechanically stimulated stem cell differentiation. This research program brings together an interdisciplinary team of scientists who work in the fields of nanomechanics and systems biology to identify the molecular mechanism(s) of nanomechanical transduction in cells.

• October 2007: We moved into CRANN as the first research team in the brand new research building. After waiting a week in the docklands at custom we can start unloading our 'lab' which was shipped in a truck and a trailer from University of Basel. Team members: Dr. Thomas Baun, Dr. Wilfried Grange, Manuel Vögtli (all from Univ. Basel).
